The very fact that PinkBike is the platform that can showcase articles about women, but doesn't, and then hosts an article asking why aren't there any women in our sport just shows hippocracy. This story is just a regurgitation of previous articles that seem to be recycled every six months or so and backed up with aggressive championing by Mr PC himself, Ian Hylands and his magic air brush.

You guys aren't figuring in what this company spends in overhead and shop running costs, insurance for the workers, design costs, lacquer/poly finish, etc, all of which is a big financial burden. I'm a furniture/cabinet maker and have made similar products as this. Every day I have to deal with people who don't understand/can't justify costs incurred in putting together a seemingly simple piece such as this. This is made in Canada, by Canadians, not Asia. This guy is not making $350 profit per piece, believe me. Everyone has the prerogative to buy or not to buy. Although he does have a right to make profit, employ locals and stay buoyant, he could quite easily have this mass produced in Asia and sell it for $100, but that is not who this company is.

I bet his frame will still be less likely to break than an Intense.

I'm sorry, but WTF is everyone wearing full face helmets for on trail bikes these days. Fair enough if your DH'ing or in an 'enduro race or whatever', but trail riding? Come on! Have xc helmets become that uncool to the uncool that full faces and $5000 'enduro bikes or whatever' are the only way to make a photo shoot rad? Rant over, sorry 'bout that.

Gravity Dropper is still the best adjustable post by far. It uses the simplest and most reliable technology, is the most user friendly and accessible, and you can buy literally every single component of the unit from their website for replacement. It's just a shame it's so damn ugly. If Gravity Dropper had Crank Bros prettyness then nothing on the market would touch it.
